An all-sky aurora over the Churchill Northern Studies Centre from up the Rocket Range Road. The W of Cassiopeia is at centre. The temperature was about -30° C with a brisk wind chill of -45° C, so even walking 200 feet up the road was a chore!

This was during a particularly good display on Feb 16, 2018.

This is a single exposure for the sky and a mean combined stack of 3 exposures for the ground to smooth noise. All were with the 14mm Sigma Art lens at f/1.8.
