An example of a weak aurora with the Kp Index at only Kp1 this. night, as seen from Churchill, Manitoba at latitude 58° N. This was March 2, 2022 on an off-night between aurora tour groups at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre. The Lights were brighter earlier this night but by 11 pm had faded to a very low level far to the north.

This is a single 30-second exposure at f/2.8 with the TTArtisan 11mm lens and Canon R6 at ISO 1600.
