The Moon and Venus in the deep desert twilight over the Chiricahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona, on October 5, 2024. Earthshine is prominent on the "dark side of the Moon.: The waxing crescent Moon was three days old here, after its eclipse of the Sun on October 2 visible from the southern hemisphere.

Taken from the Quailway Cottage near Portal, Arizona and Rodeo, New Mexico.

This is a single shot with the Rokinon RF85mm lens on the Canon R5.
