An aurora with an exposure taken while the ship was turning, to create artificial star tails. This was from the m/s Nordkapp, along the coast of Norway, and serves to illustrate the challenge of shooting the Northern Lights from a ship.
The Big Dipper is at left; Orion is at right.
This is just a 3-second exposure with the Laowa 10mm lens wide open at f/2.8 on the Nikon Z6III at ISO 3200. Yet the star trails look like what you get in several minutes of exposure normally.
