A panorama of the Northern Lights at sea on the coast of Norway north of Ålesund from the Hurtigruten ferry ship m/s Nordkapp. This was November 8, 2024. The view is looking northeast at centre, with the Big Dipper at left to the north and Orion, Taurus and the Pleiades rising at right in the east. The brghtest object is Jupiter, then in Taurus in November 2024. The ship was sailing northeast at this time and this was from the the bow of the ship on Deck 5.

Technical:
This is a panorama of 6 segments, each 1.6 seconds at f/1.8 with the Nikkor 20mm lens on the Nikon Z6III at ISO 3200. Stitched with PTGui.
