A selfie of me observing the great red aurora of October 10, 2024, from southern Arizona. The location is the Quailway Cottage near Portal, Arizona and Rodeo, New Mexico. This was with the aurora at its best for the night. The red was visible to the eye. There was also some green that appeared briefly. Moonlight from a first quarter Moon lights the foreground.
