Canis Major to Carina #1 (6x7).jpg
Canis Major to Carina area with Sirius and Canopus prominent (two brightest stars in night sky). Gum Nebula prominent above False Cross at bottom of frame. Taken from NSW, Australia in December 2003. A different framing of this is in #2 image.
Taken with Pentax 6x7 camera with 55mm lens at f/5 and 45 minute exposure on Ektachrome E200 slide film, 120-format.
Glow layer added in Photoshop to add glow around stars. Could be turned 90° CW and run landscape and still be OK for sky orientation.
