This is the small magnitude 8.5 globular cluster Messier 75 in a lonely area in eastern Sagittarius on the border with Capricornus. It was discovered by Pierre Mechain in 1780 then confirmed by Charles Messier later that year. The 13th magnitude spiral galaxy PGC 64140 is at top.

This is a stack of 8 x 4 minute exposures with the Askar APO120 refractor at f/5.6 (with the 0.8x Reducer) and Canon Ra at ISO 1600. Taken from the Quailway Cottage in Arizona in October 2024.
