A bright Kp3 to Kp4 aurora but seen through clouds, diffusing the show this night, February 13, 2024. I shot this from the Deck of the Churchill Northern Studies Centre, Churchill, Manitoba. The aurora shows some red despite the clouds, as well as snaking ripples in the curtain. Cassiopeia iand Perseus are at left in this view looking west. Polaris and the Little Dipper are at top.

This is a single 15-second exposure with the TTArtisan 11mm full-frame fish-eye lens at f/2.8 and Canon R6 at ISO 1600.
