Comet Schwassmann-Wachmann, 73P, on April 20, 2006. The comet is a short-period Jupiter-family comet that was seen to begin breakling up in 1995. At this return in 2006 it was in several pieces, as many as 66. This were the largest, Fragments B and C.

A singleexposure at ISO 800 taken April 20, 2006 with the Canon 200mm lens at f/4, with the Canon 20Da. Reprocessed in 2025.
