The constellation of Corona Australis and the dark nebula area known as the Field of Nothing, as in a telescope at moderate power, there is nothing in the eyepiece. The small globular cluster NGC 6723 is at left. The field simulates a binocular field of view.

This is a stack of 5 x 2-minute exposures with the 200mm lens at f/2.8 and Canon 5D MkII at ISO 1600, Tracked on the AP400 mount in Australia.
