Mercury (below) and Venus together low in the evening twilight on Febriary 3, 2007. They were about 6º apart this night, about as close as they appeared to each other at this evening apparition.

Technical:
A single 0.8-second exposure with the 35mm lens at f/5 on the Canon 20Da at ISO 100. Reprocessed in 2025. Diffraction spikes added with Astronomy Tools actions.
