This the summer Milky Way (northern hemisphere) from home in southern Alberta at latitude +51°, taken on July 24, 2012. This is with the Canon 5D MkII at ISO 800 and 15mm lens at f/4 for a stack of 5 x 5 minute exposures. Sagittarius is on the southern horizon, the Summer Triangle at centre and Cassiopeia at top left.
