M62 in Ophiuchus (APO120 Ra).jpg
This is the small magnitude 6.5 globular cluster Messier 62 in southern Ophiuchus, in a rich area of the Milky Way. It was discovered by Charles Messier in 1771. It is notable for being irregularly shaped with an off-centre bright core. It is also yellowed by its location in a dusty area of the Milky Way.
