Liberty Schoolhouse with Aurora.jpg
The 1910 Liberty Schoolhouse, a classic pioneer one-room school, on the Alberta prairie under the stars on a spring night, with an aurora dancing to the north. Moonlight provides the illumination. Cassiopeia is above the school. Polaris is at top.
This is a blend of a stack of 4 exposures for the ground to smooth noise and a single exposure for the sky, with a vintage effect using Luminar applied to the ground for the rustic tone. With the Laowa 15mm lens and Sony a7III camera. All 20 seconds at f/2.8 and at ISO 800, and taken as part of a 360-frame time-lapse.
