Leo & Hydra Rising (Poor).jpg
The constellations of Leo and Hydra rising in the east on a larte autumn/early winter night at about midnight, as shot from Arizona at the Quailway Cottage. The head of Hydra is the pentagram-like shape at upper right. Regulus is the brightest star at left. M67 is the little cluster above Hydra, in Cancer. Bands of airglow and light pollution from Deming off haze discolors the sky.
