Eastbound Train through the Canadian Rockies, taken at Morant's Curve on Bow Valley Parkway, near lake Louise, Banff, Alberta (spot made famous by Nicholas Morant, well-known CPR photographer of classic rail scenes)

Rail line is the main CPR line across Canada. River is Bow River.

Stars of Orion are setting behind mountains of the Continental Divide in Lake Louise area.

8 minute exposure at f/5.6 on Ektachrome 100 slide film. Lens stopped down to f/11 for train light passage.
