The stars of Orion and Canis Major (including Sirius) setting head first into the west over the sea stack formations of the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia, with the stacks beginning to be lit by light from the rising nearly Full Moon behind the camera in the east. The sky is blue with moonlight. This was April 12, 2017.
This is a stack of 8 x 15-second exposures, mean combined, for the ground to smooth noise, and one 15-second exposure for the sky, all at f/2.5 with the 14mm Rokinon lens at Canon 6D at ISO 800.
