It was bring your own telescope night at the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory's May 26, 2018 Open House, as about 30 individuals, familes and groups brought their telescopes for assistance in setting up and using them. Those telescopes added to the half dozen or so set up by members of the Calgary Centre of the RASC and by the RAO for everyone to look through at the Moon, Venus and Jupiter. In addition, the main 1.8-metre ARC Telescope was set up by students for public viewing. And talks inside the Visitor Centre provided more information on telescopes and how to do astronomy.
