M30 in Capricornus (APO120 Ra).jpg
This is the small 7th magnitude globular cluster Messier 30 in Capricornus. It was discovered by Charles Messier in August 1764. It is notorious for being the most difficult object to find in a night-long Messier Marathon held in March or April as it rises not long after sunrise. The yellow star at left is 5th magnitude 41 Capricorni.
