The rising Full Moon of February 10, 2017, the “Snow” Moon, and actually in penumbral eclipse, though the shadowed area of the disk is behind cloud here. Clouds hid the Moon when it was just coming up on the horizon. The penumbral eclipse was at maximum at moonrise for here in Alberta. Later, some darkening of the northern edge of the Moon could be seen visually.

Shot with the Canon 60Da and 200mm lens and 1.4x tele-extender.
