Moonset over Rockies (135mm).jpg
The Full Moon setting over Rocky Mountains, taken from Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, near Priddis Alberta, on August 28, 2007, the night of total eclipse of the Moon. The umbral eclipse was over by moonset though the Moon was still in penumbral eclipse. The Moon is just barely in the blue of Earth's shadow on our atmosphere with the pink Belt of Venus above.
