2010 Total Solar Eclipse (Fish-Eye View).jpg
A 360° fish-eye lens view of the entire sky at the moment of the onset of totality, at the total eclipse of the Sun on July 11, 2010, taken from Hikueru atoll in the Tuamotu chain east of Tahiti. Unfortunately, cloud blew in and over the Sun just as totality began. In the rest of the sky, where it is clear, Jupiter can be seen (upper left), and the stars of Orion (above the Sun) as well as Sirius and Canopus (right side).
