Head of Draco (SS61-III R5).jpg
This is the asterism of four stars that forms the head of Draco the Dragon. The "headlight" double star Kuma, or Nu2 Draconis, is at upper right and just resolved here. The orange giant star Eltanin, or Gamma Draconis, is at lower left. Grumium (Xi Draconis) is at upper left and Rastaban (Beta Draconis) is at lower right. North is up in this portrait view.
This is a stack of 10 x 3-minute exposures with the Canon R5 at ISO 800 on the Sharpstar 61mm EDPH Mark III refractor for a field of view 7.6° x 5°, similar to binoculars.
