Aquila to Sagitta Panorama (RF135mm RMod).jpg
A panorama of the Milky Way from Vulpecula and Sagitta (at left) to central Aquila (at right). The Coathanger asterism of stars, aka CR399, is at upper left.
The panorama records the rich mix of bright star clouds and dark lanes of dust in this area of the Milky Way.
This is a panorama of 2 segments, each with the Canon RF135mm lens at f/2 on the filter-modified Canon R at ISO 1600, and on the Star Adventurer Mini tracker. Each segment is a stack of seven 1-minute exposures, stacked and stitched in Photoshop. These were shot August 16, 2023 at the Saskatchewan Summer Star Party in the Cypress Hills, but with some smoke reducing transparency.
