Vega & Epsilon Lyrae.jpg
The blue-white star Vega (right) and the binocular double star Epsilon Lyrae (upper left) in Lyra the harp, as shot through a telescope in the twilight sky. Epsilon is known as the “Double Double” as each wide component is itself a close double star, resolvable in a telescope. At bottom is another binocular double star Zeta Lyrae. I shot this in deep twilight with some thin cloud adding the star glows naturally.
This is a stack of 11 x 30-second unguided exposures through the TMB 92m refractor at f/4.5 with the Nikon D750 taken as a test of the new camera.
