A display of noctilucent clouds on July 31, 2019, rather late in the usual season for NLCs, and here with a tropospheric thunderstorm in the foreground to the north of me, and active with lightning. This is about the latest I have seen NLCs from my location in southern Alberta. Bright NLCs were visible this night on the Aurora webcam at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre at latitude 58° N.

This is a panorama of 4 segments each 8 seconds at f/2.8 and ISO 400, with the 85mm Rokinon lens and Canon 6D MkII, stitched with Adobe Camera Raw. The lightning illumination comes from an exposure taken a few minutes later and blended in.
