The waxing crescent Moon to the left and Mercury (faint) and Venus (brighter) at right. They were all closer together earlier in the week but alas, clouds! This was the best night to catch them for clear skies. Mercury was at greatest elongation this night. A 1-second shot with the 50mm lens at f/4 and Canon 5D MkII at ISO 100.
